AMES UK has taken a step closer to achieving its goal of being the supplier of choice across all of its brands, thanks to the implementation of a new-and-improved dedicated Transport team managing all Kelkay orders.
The new dedicated team will be responsible for consistently fulfilling all Kelkay deliveries within a five-day service level agreement and ensuring the highest possible service levels are maintained, even during peak periods, where in excess of 100 loads are shipped daily.
Kelkay’s new transport team will now have improved control of planning and routing. Direct access to both hauliers and customers will provide more open dialogue across the supply chain to better manage expectations and communicate any delays before they happen via live updates for all customer deliveries.
